The founder of Shields Lawyers is Rodney Shields when the firm was called Rodney Shields & Co. It started in 1986 and it has continued in existence but in a new structure called Shields Lawyers.
From the early days, it had an expertise in mortgages as Rodney Shields had many years of practice in that field.
During the period it developed other aspects of law such as conveyancing, probates, wills and litigation.
